The bill (Reg.
No. 3104) corrects the legal deficiency of several provisions of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine, harmonizing them with the Constitution
and the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
According to the Committee members, "the subject of the legislative initiative took into account several remarks; however, the motions to the new version of clause 3, and the amendments to clauses 68 and 229 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine were neglected."
The Committee members expressed several remarks to the bill. Thus, its provisions are claimed to contravene the international agreements recognized as legally binding by The Verkhovna Rada, and other legislative acts of Ukraine.
